2 Corinthians 11:1 - "If only you would put up with a little foolishness from me!"
I bring up this passage because, quite honestly, when I tell people what I am doing, I feel a bit ridiculous. With my new, perfectly good degree, I have decided to move to a country I've never been with a language I don't yet speak and live with people I've never met. To the world, this decision is questionable at best; I have comfort and security in my life here in the states.
But we were not created for comfort, we were created for greatness. My heart has been captured by this mission, and the Lord has made it abundantly clear that this is where He wants me. I am so excited to keep you updated with my adventures, the sorrows and the joys, and the tiny beautiful moments that make up this time in Honduras. Thank you for putting up with a little foolishness from me!
